What the board can do.

Calendar and tasks are the foundation; switch on the rest when it suits you. What you do not switch on, you do not see. Every screen is real, with sample data.

All widgets for the board

The week on the board in Grid: seven columns with the time, what and who for each day, without an hour grid

Calendar

In Grid the board shows the week in seven columns; in the other themes you tap between day, week and month. Set travel time yourself, and see who drops off and picks up for every appointment. Your own calendars join through a subscription link.

  • Public and school holidays in the month.
The Done popup in the middle of the board: a large tick, Done!, Well done Noor, the task Getting dressed, plus one star and the Oops button

Tasks and rewards

Everyone ticks off their own tasks; the board calmly says how many are still open. Those who cannot read yet have the tasks read aloud. Stars and saving up for a reward belong to the Children theme, and only if you want them.

  • Something left undone? The app shows missed tasks from the past week, to tick off after all or skip.
The to-do widget: open to-dos with who they are for and who assigned them, like Dad’s bike tyre and the library book

To-dos and notes

To-dos stay until they are done, per person and assignable. Write a note with your finger, type it or say it, for everyone or for one person.

  • Private to-dos live in My space: the family and the board do not see them. There, the To-dos card on Today also shows what a family assigned to you.
  • Speech to text (via Google) only if a parent turns it on.
Editing an appointment on the board, after the parent PIN: what, who, the day and the time

Plus button and timer

With the plus you create an appointment, task, to-do, message, shopping item or meal on the board itself. You can edit an appointment there too, with repeats, travel time and who drives. A parent PIN first; then the board locks again by itself. The timer sits in the header.

Meals on the board: pasta pesto tonight, the weekly menu and the shopping list to tick off

Meals and shopping

The weekly menu and the shopping list are on the board. In the Shopping widget you tick off what is in the basket; another tap puts it back. In a shared house you see who joins dinner and whose turn it is.

The weather page on the board: 12 degrees and rain, advice for whoever is heading out (raincoat, cardigan or jumper), rain for the next two hours and the days ahead

Weather

A tap on the weather opens the weather page: the figures for now, advice for whoever is heading out soon, rain for the next two hours and the days ahead. From the KNMI radar and MET Norway.

  • For the approximate town, never the exact address.
The People page: a column for each family member with what is on now, today’s appointments and open tasks, and at the bottom what the whole family does together and the shopping

Themes and People

Grid is the default: only type in three columns. Or choose Classic, Widgets (separate tiles), Paper (like a newspaper), One thing (what is next, very large) or Children (playful, with animals and stars). The People page puts everyone side by side: one column per person. Per board and per screen, light or dark.

  • One accent colour, no icon on every line; stars and animals only in Children.
Your own photo across the whole screen, with the time, the date, what is on now and the weather

One thing and photo frame

When nobody is around, the board shows one thing large: what is next, dinner, the tasks or tomorrow, with the time and weather small above it. It changes calmly if you want (only as the rest screen, also as a page, or never); dimmed at night. Or it becomes a photo frame with your own photos.

  • We strip the location (GPS) and other hidden data from every photo.
The grid for moving widgets and making them bigger or smaller, on the board itself

Layout

Choose which widgets are on the board, how large they are and on which screen: in the app, or on the board itself with a parent PIN. In Grid you choose the column and order of each part. Today in the app works the same way, as a grid you arrange yourself.

Money in your own space: what was left in September, money in and out per month and the fixed costs (sample data)

Money

Read in your own bank statement and see where your money goes: fixed costs, the next 30 days, your own budgets and a subscription check (you choose keep or cancel; the app cancels nothing). With a holding company you get a separate business space.

  • Only you see it. It only appears on the board if you explicitly confirm that yourself for a tablet; you can always take it off. Insight, not financial advice.
  • A bank connection (read-only, through a licensed provider) is an option that is off by default.
Healthy weight: progress towards your own goal and a chart of the weekly average (sample data)

Healthy weight

Calmly keep track of what you eat, drink and move, with a safe daily target and charts. You can add readings from your scales (body composition), and with a fasting mode the app spreads the daily target over your eating window.

  • Each adult for themselves, with their own consent; nobody else sees it. Not medical advice: when in doubt, the app points you to your GP.
The What suits our family page in the parent app: cuisines and traditions, and for faith Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, another faith or no faith

Faith and traditions

By default there is nothing about faith on the board. If you choose it, prayer times, Church & calendar, Panchang and festivals or Shabbat & calendar can be added; with prayer times also listening to the Quran.

Every module, listed.
